Junior Church meet
in the Hall during the 10.0 am Sunday morning Eucharist Service.
They receive instruction on and have readings from the Bible, they usually paint
pictures or create models relating to the stories. They then return to the Church
to join their families for the Eucharist.
The 'Bridges' banner displayed in Church was produced by the children with some
help from the Groups in response to the Bishop of London's 'Building Bridges'
appeal.
We have a very active
Mothers' Union and Women's Group in the Church family, they hold regular meetings,
Social functions and Jumble Sales to raise money both for a variety of charitable
organisations and make valuable contributions to the General Fund of the Church.
We also have Bible Reading
& study Groups, Fellowship Groups, a Parents & Toddlers Group, in addition
to our Uniform Groups of Beavers, Brownies, Cubs, Guides & Scouts.
Bereavement
counselling, Baptism and Confirmation preparation also provide a valuable service
to the community and congregation.
An active Social committee organise a variety of events including 'Pub Games evenings', 'Beetle Drives' and the very popular Summer Fair.
We also play an important part in the community activities and events planned by the 'Churches Together in Whitton' an Ecumenical Group of Anglican, Baptist, Methodist and Roman Catholic Churches.
